Cress Creek

This map serves as a travelogue of sorts about a special place for me back home in Wisconsin. It is a particular stretch of land inhabited by my family, ancestors, and memories. Maps, which normally seem to accentuate my distance from this space, can now be used to draw it "closer" to me by reliving the moments through the map's creation and study of the terrain. Although this map is autobiographical, an outside viewer can experience this personal space in a visceral, episodic manner by clicking along the way and seeing, hearing and reading some moments and meditations that define this particular space for me.
